| Popularly known as ‘Ashtam Changam’, the sole aim of the game is to take every one of your counters HOME before your opponent does it. To move counters on the board, you have to jiggle the four Tamarind seeds (Chiye). The numbers showed by their faces will help you to move further. For all four black faces of the Chiye, you will move eight blocks ahead. And, for all white faces, you will move four blocks ahead. Hey, but this is not so easy! To begin the play, first unlock your house by getting a count of 1 or 4 or 8. As you proceed, you can even win bonus points either by beating the opponent or reaching the HOME. One powerful option is to place a Bomb in the path of opponent in exchange of some points. Hey, but beware…. for bomb remains there till it is blasted. And so, see that opponent gets hit and not you. Jiggle the Chiye skillfully! And, plan your moves to beat the opponent’s counters! |
